I was working tonight at the hospital and as RSV season comes to an end and there aren't as many patients on the floor and so we aren't as busy as usual. Anyway I digress...the point is I was bored so I thought that I would go to google images and google Brian's name....and guess what came up? Pictures of Brian from my blog...so I googled my name...guess what came up? Pictures from my blog...so then I googled Gaven's name and guess what came up? You guessed it pictures from my blog. I am not sure that I am comfortable with the whole world having access through google images to my family and personal pictures from my blog that can be used for any reason. What if I decide to run for president someday. I don't want all my nude vacation photos showing up on billboards and commericals all over the nation. Thus, another reason that I think it is wise to take the blog private which I am going to do soon... really soon! Anyway I also wanted to make other bloggers aware that if your blog isn't private than neither are the photos or information on your blog just in case you care.

Hey Valerie,
just so you know, there is a way to make your blog not show up on google or any other search engine, so no one can find your blog unless they have a direct link. This has helped us not have creepy issues come up in the many years we have had our blog. Anyway, I understand you probably want to go private anyway because of other issues, but if you are interested in how to do this, let me know and I can ask my husband how he did it.
it does feel better to have a private blog... but also you can go into your settings on a public blog and make your blog unsearchable so that your pix don't pop up on google images :)
